Clermont County plans to widen Ohio 28 to five lanes from the bypass to Goshen if a green light is given. The effort required close cooperation among jail staff, health providers, and corrections personnel to meet the accreditation standards.
Batavia Clermont County commissioners Arthur Dorsey and Jerry McBride approved revised expansion plans for the Pierce Union Batavia Water Treatment Plant. They authorized sanitary engineer Michael Powell to inform Malcolm Pirnie Inc to proceed with final construction design work and noted that the project plus new wells at New Palestine will lift capacity to 15 million gallons per day by 1990, with most available by spring.
