The Republican campaign for Clermont County will open in Milford Monday night by the Harding-Coolidge Club. Hon. C. C. Kjarns will be the speaker. All Republicans clubs ladies and interested parties are invited.
The Clermont county Republican Committee met in Batavia and increased the county Executive Committee size from 45 to 90 to secure one woman from each precinct. They also doubled the campaign committee, formerly all men. The move marks equal representation and the county welcomes equal suffrage for women.
Mies H. Anna Quinby of Columbus Ohio, an attorney, will campaign across the West for Senator Warren G Harding. She closes affairs in Cincinnati and sells a stock farm and lumber interests in Clermont County before entering the political arena. Officers elected for next meeting at Miss Cora Hensel’s home in Marathon Ohio with Mr and Mrs Walter Shoff mentioned as former Clermont residents.
