Arthur Bancroft, editor of the Columbus Daily Journal, was struck with a chair during a failed peacekeeping attempt with Donahue, an ex policeman who had entered the office aiming to kill a reporter. Bancroft will recover. the reporter survives. Donahue is arrested. The second fragment promotes Ayrup of Figa laxative for ladies.
