Fatal Crash Claims Cincinnati Woman At SR 32 Intersection
Mrs Gladys Arnett 67 of Cincinnati died from injuries after a two car crash at the SR 32 Old 74 intersection west of Batavia on August 12. Her husband James Arnett 73 and grandson Mathew Heaton 10 were injured. Arnett cited for failure to yield. The Batavia Life Squad rushed the victims to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. Jamboree at Bethel Middle School on August 29 benefits the Bethel Life Squad.

Deputy Recovers Stolen 1965 Oldsmobile in Batavia
A 1965 Oldsmobile owned by Minor E. Wilson was stolen Friday from 226 Spring Street Batavia and recovered by Deputy Lloyd Hauck at 3 am Monday in the Club 50 lot Owensville. Batavia Chief N C Ward says this is the second Batavia car stolen this year. Another car from Cann Ford Inc was stolen from Liming's on Main Street and recovered upstate with heavy damage.

Woman Faces Grand Jury In Shooting
The shooting occurred at 10 p.m. last Friday on SR 125 in Wilhiamsville. The victim, Roger Combs, 32, of Burnet Ave Cincinnati, was wounded in the right side while driving the car in which Mrs. Minges was the only passenger. Combs is listed in critical condition at Mariemont Hospital.
