Lovers mourned as grief drives husband to suicide
Four months after the wedding of Samuel Ullery of Bethel to Misa Lizzie Thomas, her death in Clermont County sparked extreme sorrow. Ullery visited the grave and, overwhelmed by grief, shot himself in the temple at the Bethel cemetery. His body lay beside his wife's grave as friends mourned.

Death Near New Richmond Unearths Missing Bonds Mystery
The decomposed body of Mary Relcher, midwife and seamstress from Cincinnati, was found near Twelve Mile by a pointer dog on Jacob Yeager’s farm. A valise with identifying papers and valuables, including a gold watch and bonds worth 700 dollars, suggests foul play. Justice Will Nichols led an inquest as relatives took the remains home.

Felicity Man Arrested in Kentucky for Malicious Shooting
Eugene Grant of Felicity is arrested in Augusta Kentucky on a charge of shooting with intent to kill Frank Signal last May. The assault left Signal with bullets in his back left shoulder leg knee and hip as he collapsed from blood loss.
