Motorcycle Rider Accident Victim Killed In County Crash
One man died and four residents injured in four separate Saturday crashes. Earl Smith, 35, of Williamsburg Route 2, died after losing control on Belfast Owensville Road near Owensville. His wife Gloria, 35, was treated for head and facial injuries. Smith died instantly from a broken neck. Harold Brunk, 41, of Batavia, injured when a sports car driven by Robert Crabtree overturned near Davis Hill Batavia. Crabtree and passenger Grant Knudsen of Batavia were injured. Knudsen unhurt. Mary Elizabeth Morgan, 41, of Williamsburg, injured in a two car collision south of Fayetteville. Robert O Beach, 40, of Williamsburg, injured when his car struck a tree three miles south of Fayetteville.
