NEW RICHMOND An escaped murderer was captured April 24 at Shady Lane Boat Harbor by officers from Hamilton County and Clermont County sheriffs and Pierce Township police. Jack William Kinny, 43, a 1982 escapee from Chillicothe Correctional Institute, was arrested after a Hamilton County deputy spotted him outside a trailer with one of his two children. Kinny, who used the alias Hall, had been serving two consecutive life sentences for murder and shooting to kill in Cincinnati. He was taken into custody without incident around 1 p.m. Kinny had been living with his common law wife and was released to Hamilton deputies’ custody.
