Five Die In Crash On US 50 Near Fayetteville
Five people died and several were injured in a Saturday night head on crash on US 50 three miles west of Fayetteville. Victims included Faya Gate ner and family of Williamsburg. Police said Gardners auto failed to curve and collided with the Quickle vehicle. Funeral services for the Gardner family were held. Other injuries involved Janet Mahaney, Mrs. Oscar Sharp, and plane crash traffic incidents on Rt. 74 and Main Street.
