Cabrey Hoberg Distributing Co. requests 567,500 to enlarge its Aston facility with equipment and parking improvements, adding five jobs and 75 thousand dollars in payroll. Sun Chemical plans to issue bonds through Lehman Kuhn Loeb for 30 years, with tentative backing from Fifth Third Bank. CIC meets monthly when applications arise.

Plane nearly crashes near Batavia as engine fails
A single engine Cessna 210 M lost power on approach to Clermont County Airport and forced to land in a vacant field near Clough Pike about 2.1 miles south of Batavia. Pilot George Hawes, 59, of Toledo, and passenger Marge Yeaney, 36, of Toledo, were uninjured. Minor damage to the aircraft noted. FAA investigation begun.
