Counties To Split Bridge Repair Job
The Camargo Bridge over the Little Miami River will be repaired with a $40,000 cost shared by Clermont and Hamilton Counties. Clermont will contribute up to $11,000. Hamilton will pay the remainder. Indian Hill warned the bridge would close May 1 if work did not begin, with a new floor repairs to abutments and a repaint included.

Kingsley A. Taft 58, candidate for chief justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, toured Clermont County last Wednesday to renew ties with local attorneys and meet new practitioners. Taft has been a Supreme Court judge since 1949, practiced law 1928-48, was a state representative, led the Shaker Heights school board in 1942, served in World War II, and became a U.S. Senator in 1946.

Mobile X-Ray Unit Sets County Record With 6862 Exposures
The 18 day tour by the State Health mobile X-ray unit completed in Clermont County on Thursday with 6862 free X-rays. Dr. Albert Van Sickle and Stirling Moore praised 175 volunteers and Mayor city officials for cooperation. Communities visited and X-ray counts include Milford 742 and Bethel 685 among others.
