Donald Gingerich Republican candidate for District Congressman spoke in Batavia on Wednesday the sixth day of the month as part of a 360 mile walking tour across a 12 county district. The educator and his family reside in Springboro Warren County.
The ZAC group urged commissioners to confirm intervenor status for Zimmer Nuclear plant hearings after requesting board action. March 6 vote to petition the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board followed ZAC’s appearance at the board meeting with their request, though Mrs Dennison faced charges about the process.
Michael J. Voris a 43 year old Union Township lawyer withdrew his bid for county judge to avoid dragging the issue. He had planned to run for a common pleas post if Rosenhoffer runs and said he would consider the race but pulled out after the board accepted his letter. CAPH Clermont Association for the Physically Handicapped urged the county commissioners to provide 26500 dollars for nine months to prevent closure by April 14. The group already sought outside funding and requested 58000 for equipment including a van with wheelchair tie downs and related base, with 12656 needed to operate the two vehicles.
