Motor Vehicle Sales Tax Drops in Clermont County

CG&E Makes Record Clermont County Property Tax Payment
The Cincinnati Gas and Electric Co. paid 100000 toward Clermont County’s largest ever property tax bill. For the first six months of last year CG&E taxes totaled 542216, with 80 percent earmarked for schools including New Richmond 316560 West Clermont 30060 Milford 20500. The remainder was handed to County treasurer Byron Ross by CG&E Eastern Division manager George Day. The second half for 1961 due July. Day is pictured completing the payment to Ross.
