Pennington Red Cross Dance Raises 880.55 Despite Opposition
The Pennington community held a Red Cross benefit dance last Saturday night. Despite objections to dancing, the event raised 880.55 for the Red Cross. Credits go to Tom Bushnell, B F P Steth tamp, and L M Levhart for the success. County commissioners met to review the equalization assessment with few changes and praised Mr. Alexander for the assessor's work. The four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Shane of Dora underwent surgery for dangerous complications and is improving.
