Junior Swim Opens 1955 Season

The Cincinnati and Hamilton County Red Cross announces the 1955 Junior Swim program for fourth to ninth graders and under 16. Free swimming lessons from Red Cross instructors are available at neighborhood pools with awards from Times-Star including plastic emblems medals and certificates. The program runs through August 19.

Chamber Night Plans Honor Reds at Crosier Field

Cincinnati Chamber plans a Second Annual Chamber of Commerce Night at Crosley Field on Tuesday July 26. The Reds meet the Brooklyn Dodgers as Arthur Radtke and W P West co chair the committee appointed by M R Greiser. Last year over 12000 fans attended despite weather.
