About 15 residents were displaced by a Thursday afternoon fire at Southwood Apartments, 1454 West River Road North. Fire officials say the blaze damaged one upstairs unit, mostly due to a building firewall, with $100000 in losses and Red Cross lodging arranged. A firefighter suffered minor facial burns but remained on duty.

Motorcyclist Flown After Crash On State Route 113
