Wellington High Hosts Voter Registration and Band Contest
The Wellington High School announces voter registration for the public on school days from 8 am to 3 pm with registrar Mrs. Helen Frye, and notes no charge. The Dukes Marching Band won Class C at the Festival of Champions in Lexington earning a $100 prize, best music and best percussion trophies, while the Flag Corps placed second. The band earned a superior rating and advances to the Ohio Music Educators Association State Marching Band Competition in Columbus on November 6. Athens High won Class A and Tallmadge High won Class B in the same event.
