Detroit Man Dies In Route 18 Collision

Detroit man James Raymond Diabo aged 20 was killed on Route 18 three and a half miles west of Wellington after his car veered into the westbound lane and struck a flatbed truck driven by Royal Wilson 58 of Wellington. Wilson and another driver Roger Moore 28 escaped injury.

Choir loft fire damages St Peter’s Church in North Ridgeville

Firefighters battled a blaze at St. Peter’s Church last night, damaging the choir loft with flames believed to have started near a wastebasket. About 23 firefighters arrived within five minutes, extinguishing the fire and preventing greater damage. Estimated losses reach up to 25000 dollars due to smoke and organ mechanism damage.

Oklahoma pilot admits kidnap hoax after safe landing
