Abraham’s parents sought injunctive relief arguing for immediate action to preserve his senior season and college scholarship prospects. The school district contends he did not consistently complete required work and did not earn enough credits, despite efforts to monitor and allow makeups.

GM weighs closing some Fisher Guide plants
GM officials are studying capacity cuts at Fisher Guide plants including the Elyria operation where about 2,300 workers produce injection molding and metal stampings. The plan to reduce excess capacity should be ready in a few weeks, as managers were summoned to Warren for the briefing.
