City Nears Finish of 1927 Concrete Paving Program

Asks Judge For Prison Term In Cur tis Case
James Curtis, 65, wanderer, begged Judge Ger Vt Baer for a prison term in Cleveland on September 27. A letter signed by Lieut Walter Collins of the Volunteers of America offered to support Curtis for life. The judge has not ruled. Curtis is held on fraud charges at the county jail. In Kent Ohio a 60 year old real estate dealer James M Stoff wounded Mrs Mary Hutchinson 50 then shot himself in the head dying moments later. Mrs Hutchinson remains in critical condition.
