State rep records requests denied by Lorain Schools
Lorain City area state representative Joe Miller says his records requests to the Lorain Schools were denied. He sought contracts and salaries of administrators, lists of hires and fires, legal fees, reimbursements, and administrator evaluations for the CEO, with district officials saying some records do not exist or require clarification. The district notes the Academic Distress Commission found CEO David Hardy Jr ineffective for 2018 19 and developing for 2017 18. Miller may rewrite requests or pursue a court order if needed.
