Cleveland, Sept 26 Dodgers Browns doubleheader left the Indians with no chance to finish fourth and they settle in the consolation second division after a rookie mound test.
The Elyria rubber company horseshoe pitching team will meet Gordon Park in the last regular Greatern Cleveland League match of the season. The match is set for 2 PM at Riverview Park courts tomorrow with one postponed game remaining in Cleveland. Canada’s Yukon Territory shows a population drop to 4000 from a high of 27900 in 1901.
Former Elyria star Fred McClintock, once an end on the Elyria Elks, is now an assistant to Fremont High coach Bob Oldfather. McClintock, a former Ashland College grid standout, previously coached at Galion High. Elyria meets Fremont on the gridiron in November.
