60th Anniversary for Emil and Anna Renkel of Elyria
Emil and Anna Renkel recently celebrated sixty years of marriage. They wed in Monroe Michigan on September 8 1924 and moved from Amherst to Elyria in 1978. He worked at General Motors in Hudson as a machine operator and crafts with string art and woodwork. She retired from Dow Chemical in Cleveland and enjoys knitting crocheting and crafts. They attend St Paul Lutheran Church where she leads the Ladies Guild and serves on the Mission Society. They have three grandchildren and one great grandchild. A limousine ride and dinner at Glass Gardens Westlake followed by a September 9 celebration hosted by grandchildren. Special guest Dorothy Mitiska sang The Lords Prayer.
