West German vote hinges on undecided voters on Sunday
Undecided voters hold the key as West Germany nears Sunday national elections. Kiesinger and Brandt headline a tight race with a rising National Democratic Party led by Adolf von Thadden. Thadden promises law and order while attacking foreign influence, seeking up to 50 Bundestag seats amid a tense campaign. Meanwhile the Social Democrats push a shift away from Adenauer era policies, moving toward acknowledging East Germany’s state-like existence.
