Carnivorous Plant Hobbyist Turns 17 Enthralls Colorado
Jeremiah Harris, a homeschooled teen in Colorado Springs, devotes himself to carnivorous plants. He grows about 325 varieties, leads the Colorado Carnivorous Plant Society, and runs an online forum with members from the UK to Australia. His Nepenthes collection is among the nation's largest, and he plans a second greenhouse despite considering dentistry or cooking as future paths.
