Youths' car rolls over three times in Vermilion field race
Wesley DeWitt Jr. 19 of Na komis Park was listed in fair condition at St Joseph Hospital Lorain after his car rolled over three times while racing in a field near Brunton Motor Sales west of Vermilion on Route 62. He suffered scalp lacerations and contusions to chest and abdomen. Erie County Sheriff's deputies, called by Vermilion police at 3 56 pm, said several youths were racing nearby. DeWitt's vehicle struck a rut during a left turn.
