The Golden Text Review of Israel's Early Kings

The piece traces Israel's shift to human kingship under Saul and David, contrasts David's self restraint with Saul's failures, notes Nathan Rehoboam and Solomon's decline, and links these to the Psalm 105 theme about God’s throne. It frames David's rise, Jonathan's loyalty, and Solomon's folly as lessons in kingship and faith.

Plant Hyacinths For Fragrance In Garden Or Home

Hyacinths offer fragrance enough to justify planting. For outdoor beds plant 6 to 8 inches apart, 2 to 1 inches deep with good drainage and mulch to slow early emergence. Indoors use slow moist soil or water from bulbs in glasses and place in a cool dark spot before bringing to bright windows. Indoor or outdoor varieties provide early spring scent and color.
