Ely School sweethearts keep love going in Elyria story
In Elyria, Scott and Nancy Witherell recall a lifelong romance that began in Ely School in 1968. They reconnected in high school, married in 1980, and spent years in the Air Force before settling back in Ohio. Their story spans elementary to high school, military service, two children, and a grandson who attended Ely Elementary. They plan to mark 2020 with a 40th reunion and travel adventures.
