Drunken Elyria Mom Charged After Two Pedestrian Crash
Elyria police report Darlene Waters 44 crashed a blue Pontiac Grand Prix on Fillmore Avenue near West River Road North. Waters and her 15-year-old daughter were in the car when it left the road, hit a tree, and broke the tree in half around 2 15 p.m. The driver faces drunken driving charges including OWI test refusal and reasonable control.

Brookside teen improves after weekend car hood crash
Sheffield Police said a 17 year old girl from Sheffield Lake Andrea Gustafson was not car surfing as first thought. She was sitting on the hood of a moving car in the Breezewood Party Center parking lot about 12:50 a.m. Sunday when a friend decided to move the car.
