Midview moves to nine week grading for all elementary classes
GRAFTON The Midview Board reversed an earlier plan and ordered nine week reports for all elementary grades after principals urged coordination. Four members supported the change, with only Robert Flickinger voting no. Interim reports will cover students performing poorly. Separately, the board denied a waiver for a student to join Oberlin High sports, citing OAA rules and potential chaos. The district also granted diplomas to two graduates, adopted a swim and safety program for 296 fourth graders with Elyria YMCA funding, and approved three replacement buses for 1974-75, retiring buses 30 and 41.
