Police link two Elyria break-ins on Pasadena and Prospect
Police believe a Monday night home invasion on Pasadena Avenue is connected to an aggravated robbery on Prospect Street earlier that day. Three armed men entered the Pasadena home, pistol whipped the homeowner, demanded money, and fired shots as the resident escaped. The assailants fled in a dark-colored Dodge Rain.

Elyria man shot dead in Cleveland after stabbing incident
Police say Adrian Wallace 43 of Elyria died at MetroHealth Medical Center after a head wound in Cleveland. A black knife was found near him and spent shell casings indicate a linked stabbing on East 136th Street. A stabbing victim in that incident was also hospitalized with non life threatening injuries.
