Man avoids prison for role in teen death case
Adam Ortiz Jr., 22, pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence possession of criminal tools obstructing justice and abuse of a corpse in the DeAndre McDowell death case. He faces five years probation and six months in jail with possible nine year prison if probation is violated. The body was moved after police say DeAndre was shot in a Lorain home on May 16, 2013.
