Community in shock after crash kills local student
The crash on North Boone Road killed 17 year old Adam Grodzik of Columbia Township after his car was struck by a dump truck and caught fire. Firefighters removed him from the vehicle and tried to extinguish the flames but he died from extensive burns. Adam attended St Ignatius High School and played varsity lacrosse. The community and school plan events in his memory as neighbors reflect on the tragedy.
