Elyria High Grid Ineligible Kaminski Jezewski Shocks Looming Season

Elyria High announced that Joe Kaminski and Stacey Jezewski have been ruled ineligible for further athletic participation. Kaminski is over the 20 year age limit per Ohio Commissioner H R Townsend, while Jezewski has exhausted six semesters of high school, making him ineligible. This upheaval forces changes in Crimsons lineup as coach Roy Crimer and aide Dave Eaton adjust for the Oberlin game. Veteran support is thinning with only Captain George Novotny among linemen likely to start, leaving several inexperienced players to fill key roles.
