Elyria shoppers will see a milestone sale marking the 22nd anniversary with thousands of dollars in merchandise from a store-wide event. New Fall and Winter apparel will be offered at historic prices as the era of falling prices is said to have bottomed out. The campaign targets women in Elyria and surrounding areas seeking value and style.
The notice urges choosing winter coats now, claiming prices are from months ago while stock market ups and downs echo in the garment trade. Woolens, furs, and silks are rising in price, with a new fur tax added, suggesting coats will be marked up by many dollars after the sale.
