Uganda says 1500 exiles routed by base strikes
Uganda announced it had driven back an invasion of 1500 Ugandan exiles from Tanzania. Ugandan jets bombed bases in Bukoba and Bukova, with tank and paratrooper advances retaking Kyotera, Kalisizo, and Mbarara area while casualties were reported on both sides.

Reds free 3 U S prisoners of war in Hanoi ceremony
