Captain R H McIntosh and Commandant James Fitzmaurice, aboard the Princess Xenia, turned back after three hours at sea as fog and rain battered their non stop attempt from Europe to North America. They landed near Ballydonell, County Kerry, at 7 30 p m after circling for a safe landing. The crew, exhausted but unharmed, blamed dense fog, a 40 mile an hour headwind, and heavy rain for forcing the abort.

Winfield Monismith of 11407 Franklin Avenue Lakewood and Marie Hynes of 11021 Fortune Avenue Cleveland were injured last night when their riding machine ran into a ditch at North Eaton.
