Husted orders expanded early voting schedule in Ohio
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted moved to extend early voting ahead of the fall election after a federal judge blocked a law trimming hours. The order sets a Sept 30 start and allows local boards to add hours, with Husted appealing to the 6th Circuit. The ACLU and NAACP-backed suit claimed the changes reduced access, while critics warn of a patchwork of rules.
