Bay Village unveils FIFA approved artificial field for soccer
Bay Village's Memorial Stadium sports a new FIFA approved artificial surface completed over Labor Day weekend. Rockets coach Bobby Dougherty hails the field as a year round upgrade, boosting training and play while sparing the turf from repeated use. Bay’s boys, coming off a 3-3 record with a 6-1 win over North Ridgeville, focus on faster starts and stronger defensive play as the season advances alongside strong Comets and regional rivals.

Sabathia Shuts Out Royals As Indians Rally Late
