Suspect sought in rape attempt at YWCA in Elyria
No arrests have been made in the attempted rape of a YWCA Holly Hall resident about 4 a.m. Friday. Police search for a man who grabbed the woman as she walked a third floor hallway and threatened to kill her if she screamed. She escaped up a stairway, ran to the director’s office, and armed herself with a lamp before the intruder fled through an open door.
