Turner seeks 50890 to back Ohio grand jury probe
Ohio State Emergency board planned a Columbus meeting to consider Attorney General Edward C. Turner’s request for a 50890 appropriation to support a special grand jury probe into election conditions. Turner did not attend, delegating voting to Col. L. C. Davis, hinting at fraud revelations. The inquiry shifted to ward 12 registrations, noting 6000 registered in 1924 and 6400 listed as eligible in 1927 amid citywide shortfalls.
