Amherst social and school notes from September events
Amherst records detail Ladies Aid and Brownhelm church gatherings in the parish rooms. Recitations and a school days themed program entertain 40 to 55 members, with refreshments. Local students enter Ohio Wesleyan and Navarille universities, with officers elected for Ambers High School and a Bible school planning committee formed. Community notices include truancy duties, fraternal and missionary society events, and upcoming outings.
