FireFish Festival heats up Lorain with big weekend events
Lorain hosts the FireFish Festival starting Saturday at 2 p.m. on Broadway and Black River Lane. Hundreds lose power in Oberlin after weekend storm
Oberlin was without electricity on the west side for hours after a storm swept through Northeast Ohio Saturday night. By 5 p.m. Sunday about 300 remained without power, down from an initial estimate around 500, as mutual aid from nearby communities helped crews restore service. The National Weather Service logged gusts up to 44 mph.
