EMH to Issue Bonds for Avon Wellness Center

Lorain County will issue 10 million in tax exempt industrial bonds to fund EMH Regional Health Systems plan for an 85,000 square foot Avon wellness center and medical offices on Healthway Drive. Project cost estimated 11 to 12 million with 45 new jobs and 10 physicians offices. Public hearing set for Oct 2 at 10 30 a.m. Bond terms include 20 to 25 year terms and a tax exempt rate around 3 percent.
