Murray Ridge teachers protest half hour extension at 169 Board
The Classroom Employes Association at Murray Ridge School petitioned the Lorain County Board of Mental Retardation to reverse a mandatory added 30 minutes to the teachers day. They say hours rose to 8:30 to 3:20 with no pay raise and no bus schedule changes. Signatures show broad concern. The board plans review in a month or two while maintaining the extension as fair and arranging teacher representation at meetings.
