FirstEnergy to replace Davis-Besse head early
NRC officials say the Davis-Besse reactor head will be replaced in October 2011, four years ahead of the previously planned 2014 date. The Akron based utility shut the plant near Toledo from February to June for head crack repairs and stated the current head is safe.
