Lunch subsidies end at Elyria High School cafeteria
Elyria Public Schools ended the federal subsidy for the high school cafeteria program. Man Faces Charge As Result Of Traffic Crash
Edward Hollan of North Olmsted was charged with reckless driving after his car rear ended William Heidrich of 326 Cambridge L Avenue on Broad Street near East River Street. Heidrich suffered a neck injury. Hollan due in police court September 15. A second crash occurred on Route 113 near Middle Ridge Road involving Lloyd Weldy of Rocky River and George Humphrey of Lorain as Humphrey turned. A third collision on Broad Street at 6:50 a.m. damaged a truck driven by Clarence Faber of Parmely Avenue and a car driven by Luther Hamm of Water Street. Massillon plans to open a $10 million viaduct across the Tuscarawas River on Friday with Gov Lausche expected to attend.
