Boy Mistaken for Raccoon Shot to Death
In Youngstown on September 11, Wilbur Fisher 14 farm youth was shot and killed after companions Jack Ague 18 and Robert Vesey 14 shot at a noise from a tree they mistook for a raccoon. The shot dropped Wilbur from 35 feet and he died en route to hospital. Authorities ruled the death accidental.
