Shooting in Sheffield Township Leaves 23YearOld Critically Involved
Lorain County deputies investigated a Friday shooting at 4471 Dunton Road Sheffield Township that left a 23 year old man in critical but stable condition after being transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center and then MetroHealth. A man was seen driving away in a gunshot damaged vehicle as the scene was secured. A person of interest is named in the sheriff’s release. The Denver Avenue victim was also treated and transported. The investigation continues with the Sheriff’s Detective Bureau reviewing witness accounts from neighbor Joyce Partin and others.
