Health and wellness sessions include a 6:30 p.m. diabetes information event at City Hall with YMCA and Lorain County Health District co sponsors. A flu immunization clinic runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Education Center for ages six months and up with a $25 fee, financial aid available. Free mental illness support groups meet 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays at The Nord Center. Biblicals studies classes set for Thursdays at Full Gospel Ministries. North Ridgeville Senior Center lists crafts, Red Hat Society, exercise, yoga, line dancing, four Wednesday luncheons, watercolor and meals. Skunkfest Returns to South Central Park for 15th Year
Hundreds gather at North Ridgeville’s South Central Park for Skunkfest 15 as descented skunks, vendors, and rescue groups fill the event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival raises funds for Skunk Haven Inc. and features talent and costume contests, a Skunkfest royal court, and home for skunks in need.

North Ridgeville youths Ryan Turner and Stephen Slezak join Troop 153 as Eagle Scouts after Court of Honor ceremonies. Turner rebuilt an observation mound fence at Sandy Ridge Reservation with funds raised in 2014. Slezak rebuilt a wheelchair ramp for St. Peter School’s mobile unit to improve student access.
