Americans fall short on fruit and vegetable goals
A CDC report shows about one third of U S adults eat fruit or juice twice daily, down from 34 percent in 2000, and only about 26 percent consume vegetables three or more times a day. California topped fruit intake while Tennessee led in vegetables. Oklahoma and South Dakota were lowest.
